Andreas’ current position as an API Management Architect and Evangelist at DATEV is a perfect reflection of his career history.
Andreas began his career as a developer in the 90s, later becoming an expert in inter-process communications and identity/access management for large-scale environments.
He has worked as an architect in various industries, including insurance, banking, public services, and accounting, and has been a member of several boards, such as the Berlin Group NextGenPSD2, Geno Banking Interfaces, Sparda Architecture Board, Telefonica Architecture Board, among others.
Andreas is not a classic software architect neither a classic infrastructure architect. He frequently fills both of these roles and likes to work hands-on.
He has a strong dislike for ivory manner-built architecture.
